Gown Heirlooming...over 63 years of experience.

When your gown is received it is carefully examined for spots, stains and any necessary mending. Next, all spots are cleaned by hand with a special cleaning solution gentle enough for even old lace and aged fabrics. The entire gown is now ready for cleaning in a multi-step process that preserves the fabric and color. The gown is then hung to air dry for 24 hours and examined again. Minor repairs are done to replace snaps, hooks, mend rips and seams or whatever is needed. Finishing work includes hand pressing and sizing that restores original freshness and renews the shape of each garment.

After a final, thorough inspection by specially trained personnel, the gown is placed on an adjustable body form stuffed with tissue and carefully folded. It is then sealed air-tight with clean non-yellowing DUPONT film in a beautifully designed chest with a viewing panel so that the gown can be shown to friends and family without disturbing the air-tight seal.

Once the gown is completely packaged in our uniquely designed boxes you will never have to worry about damage or breakage. The compound test strength of the container is 525 pounds!
